David Pastrnak from Bruins, Tom Wilson from Capitals have fun Twitter exchange | Boston Bruins

David Pastrnak had fun trolling the Toronto Maple Leafs while he was in the NHL bubble town. But now it seems that someone is having fun at his expense.

The Bruins winger took to Twitter on Tuesday night to share a really nice message about a member of another Eastern Conference team that Boston will face in the all-out tournament in the Washington Capitals.

Check it out:

As you probably already know, Pastrnak racked up 49, tied with Caps star Alex Ovechkin for goals in the shortened NHL season 2019-20, picking up the Richard “Rocket” Maurice Trophy.

The fun thing about Pastrnak’s tweet is that Wilson has 78 goals in seven seasons and has only reached the 20-goal mark twice. Obviously, we have reason to believe that someone is having fun at the expense of Pasta.

And Wilson decided to take action.

Ovechkin has been known as a goalscorer essentially since joining the NHL and he even has Wayne Gretzky thinking he could break The Great One’s record for goals.

The Caps and Bs play each other on August 9 to determine the Eastern Conference standings for the Stanley Cup playoffs.
