The Philadelphia 76ers took a step Thursday that they believe the position will help them advance to the playoffs that they believe are set for them. They got Pte George Hill from the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 3-team deal that gives them a solid backup point guard.
Hill has played 127 playoff games in his career and has been a couple of runners in his career in the NBA Finals as well as the Eastern Conference Conference Finals. On top of that, he has a career from 38.4% shooter and he is a solid defender.
He is the type of two-way player that President Darrell More and Coach Doc are looking for the reverse.
“I think Doc had some good comments about finding a two-way guard recently and that one, which she thought, was one of the very few needs for us.” “It simply came to our notice then. A P te bi-directional guard who can shoot at very high levels and defend at high levels. “
When Hill is put in the right role, he can be a really solid player on any team. He scored 46% off the NDA in the 2019-20 season with the Milwaukee Bucks and is a solid p who can help a pretty young team.
