In the story of series writer Charles Soule, Luke Skywalker and his father have a confrontation, more or less. There’s a twist, since the Luke seen in the gallery below is apparently an impostor, much to Vader’s chagrin (and the impostor’s regret as he loses his life).
The next steps in Luke Skywalker’s quest for Jedi wisdom begin here! After a mysterious vision he received in Cloud City, Luke travels to a lost planet in search of a woman he believes may be the key to his future. Marvel’s ongoing Star Wars comic series is now in its second volume after an initial 50-issue series that launched with a number of millions of sales. The current volume, which was released in January, is set in the years after Luke Skywalker’s confrontation with Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back, in which he learned that Darth Vader was not the man who killed his father Anakin Skywalker, but Anakin himself.
