John Oliver dumped on the wrong city of Connecticut.
The British comedian took the piss from Danbury on his HBO show last week – so officials named the local sewer after him.
“We will rename it the John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant,” Mayor Mark Boughton said Saturday in a Facebook video.
“Why? Because it’s full of crap just like you, John.”
The move comes after the Aug. 16 episode of “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” in which the host examines the racial differences in the jury’s selection process, with issues mentioned in a few Connecticut cities.
He randomly brought Danbury up, saying, “If you’ll forget a city in Connecticut, why not forget Danbury, because – and this is true – f – k Danbury.”
Oliver then noted the “charming railway museum” of the town hall and the “historic Hearthstone Castle” – before evoking a stench.
“Danbury Connecticut can eat my whole thing,” Oliver said.
He went on to say: “I know exactly three things about Danbury, USA Today ranks it the one to one best city to live in 2015. It was once the center of the American hat industry.”
“And if you’re out there, you have a standing invitation to come from John Oliver – children included – f – k you.”
It is unclear what prompted Oliver to leave Danbury.
The host also ripped off Boughton and other U.S. mayors in 2017 over videos they made to draw Amazon to their cities.
In his new video, Boughton tried to erase the smile from Oliver’s face, saying, “And, oh, by the way … We have Amazon here in Danbury.”
