Cuba’s attorney Gooding Jr. argues women with small breasts may be deluded

The actor and his legal team appeared in a courtroom in Manhattan on Thursday for a preliminary hearing in his trial, and things took a strange turn when one of his lawyers argued that a woman’s negative negative feelings about her breasts directly affected her. reality can affect … specifically when it comes to sexual assault.

Well, some context – the lawyer, Peter Toumbekis, took this up because one of Gooding’s prosecutors once blogged about issues with women’s self – awareness and body. It seems he used her words as a springboard for his theory … but it’s a risky, if not straight up offensive, legal maneuver.

There was no jury present today, but if Gooding’s team uses that tactic later in the trial … it may fall back. Suggesting a prosecutor deformed something like sexual assault because of the size of her breasts could easily be seen as victim shame for a jury.

Reporters asked Gooding about it when he left the courtroom, and he removed his face mask only to open a Black Lives Matter symbol. He said not a word.

As we reported … there are at least 22 women who have accused the actor of sexual abuse. Back in October, Cuba plead not guilty up to 6 charges for sexual abuse.

TMZ received security footage from an alleged butt-touching incident that relates to 2 of the 6 counts he has. Remember, Natasha Ashworth had claimed he pinched her ass while walking past her at TAO in NYC in October 2018.

There’s also the June 2019 incident … in which a woman accused Cuba of grazes her thigh and chest while at the Magic Hour Rooftop Lounge in NYC.

Leading’s advice from Gooding, Mark Heller, tells TMZ … the strategy for her opening statement to the jury will be to play video that she believes shows absolutely no crime was committed.
