Someone who claimed to be a member of the audience during the Fyter Fest came to Reddit last night to give some details on how they entered the venue.
The person who later deleted The chargeThey said they received a private invitation to attend the show with 60 other non-crew members. Then they explained that everyone who entered with them had to wear a mask to walk even through the outer doors.
This fan also claimed that they had to sign waivers acknowledging that they had not been exposed to COVID-19, as well as other precautions related to the safety of the virus. However, they were not tested for COVID-19 to enter the venue as talent and crew. They were only given temperature controls.
According to an AEW source, the people invited to Fyter Fest were local sponsors of the Daily’s Place or Jaguars who were allowed to bring family and friends. We are told that these people sat in the top bowl of Daily’s Place and were probably not screened because there is no way someone up there can spit or breathe anyone in the ring area or behind the scenes. Our sources say that anyone who was in the bottom bowl or in the backstage area, however, was screened for COVID-19.
