Streaming star Alinity Divine spoke about the hate she receives online due to her past controversies, and addressed the rumors of being responsible for Dr. Disrespect’s Twitch ban during a broadcast therapy session with psychiatrist Dr. K.
Alinity Divine is a popular personality on Twitch, with more than 1.2 million followers on the platform, as well as her large number of enemies, after having received wide criticism due to controversial cases throughout her career as one of the main broadcasters. .
However, the hatred against the star was exacerbated after Twitch’s shocking ban on transmitter Dr. Disrespect in late June, and trolls accused her of being responsible for the incident after the release of an allegedly falsified Reddit post.
While the exact reason for Doc’s suspension is unknown at the time of this writing, Alinity responded against these allegations during a July 6 therapy session with Twitch psychiatrist Alok ‘Dr. K ‘Kanojia, where he opened up about the constant hatred he receives online.
“You have to understand, I became the punching bag of the Internet,” he explained. “Dr. Disrespect was banned, fine. I never met the boy, I never spoke to him, I never had an interaction with him.” They banned it, and I was trending on Twitter with its ban. The people who tell me it was my fault that they banned it. ”
“People were harassing me, like, ‘Why did they ban it?'” He continued. “‘Did you cheat on him?’ And I’m like, friend, what the hell? So I became obsessed with finding out why they banned it, because I wanted to show these people that it had nothing to do with me. ”
Thats not all; Alinity also admitted that she had developed harmful thoughts due to the hatred she had received over the years, claiming that she wished she could ‘let go’ of the internet vitriol and even express her desire to go to prison for dealing with the constant harassment.
“I could kill myself,” he revealed during the broadcast. “I have thought about it so many days, so many times. I already had a plan for how I was going to do it. “
Fortunately, Alinity also admitted that she has some close friends who prevent her from being alone, and later admitted to the ridiculousness of Internet hate culture and the wild rumors surrounding it.
This broadcast follows the transmitter’s collapse during a live broadcast on July 3, after which Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins apologized for a comment he made about Alinity throwing a cat over his head a year ago.
Still, I kept looking at the tweet and saying that I wouldn’t have sent it if I wasn’t a little bowed. I also apologize @AlinityTwitch https://t.co/JycL15AJs6

Alinity’s therapy session with Dr. K also follows the death of transmitter Byron ‘Reckful’ Bernstein, who tragically took his own life on July 2, leading to further discussion among the broader broadcast community about online behavior and Internet culture.
