Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been quiet for many of the offseasons, but he held a video conference Wednesday with reporters covering many topics about this unusual NFL season.
One of them was the prospect of having fans at AT&T Stadium this season for home games. Washington became the last team to announce that they will play in an empty stadium earlier in the day, but Jones is still planning to go another route.
“The Dallas Cowboys are going to play in all of our football games and we are going to play them for our fans,” Jones said.
Jones said the team will adhere to any local or state protocols regarding attendance and they have no fans in mind at this point, but he said he thinks the size of the stadium and the number of suites they are able to have people at hand while maintaining social distance.
As of, the state of Texas allows 50 percent capacity for sporting events.
