A new case of COVID-19 has been reported today, with a total of 482 county residents testing positive for the virus.

In related news, California government Gavin News today signed AB 685, requiring employers to notify COVID-19 within a business day if they are contacted at work. The law also requires the employer to report the case directly to Humboldt County Public Health. The Humboldt County Joint Information Center will publish more information about these new requirements as they become available.
