GREAT FALLS – Health officials added 138 New COVID-19 Cases to the Montana Response COVID-19 Tracking Map on Thursday July 30 and one new death
Note: The numbers reported by the state each day sometimes differ from those reported by county public health departments due to periodic delays in submitting data to the state. The data below is from the official Montana website on July 30:
- TOTAL CASES AND RECOVERIES: Now there has been 3,814 cumulative cases statewide, and 2,240 people have recovered from the virus.
- HOSPITALIZATIONS There are currently 69 hospitalized patients. Has been 221 hospitalizations for COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
- ACTIVE CASES: The state reports that there is currently 1,519 active cases of COVID-19 in Montana.
- TESTS: The number of tests increased by 3,261 during the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new state cumulative total of 168,616.
- DEAD: The cumulative number of deaths in Montana is now 55. The most recent deaths are in Big Horn County, which announced the death of a man in his 60s on Thursday morning; It was the seventh COVID-19 related death in the county.
CASCADA COUNTY: Cascade county reported Three new cases on Thursday: two 20-year-old women and one 80-year-old woman. There has been a cumulative total of 135 confirmed cases in Cascade County; Of these, 59 have recovered, 74 are currently active, and two have died.
HILL COUNTY: Hill County Health Department aware Thursday morning: “Last night we learned of a new COVID-19 case. The case is a woman in her 70s and was identified through contact tracing. In addition, Hill County has had three hospitalizations in the last Two weeks since then he has been discharged and is recovering at home, and one remains hospitalized. We will update again this afternoon with any changes we hear during the day. Hill County Total – 43; Active – 27; Recovered – 16. “
GLACIER COUNTY: Glacier County Health Department aware Thursday morning: “Our cumulative total of cases is 52 and 9 of them are active cases.” There have been 42 patients recovered in Glacier County, and one death.
