COVID-19 has killed 1 person in every North Dakota: information

Covid-19 has killed more than one in every 1,000 people in North Dakota, data show.

With a population of 6,262,000, at least 79 11 virus-related deaths have been reported in Peace Garden State, according to the latest Johns Hopkins University figures.

Meanwhile, the state has topped the country for new cases per capita for the past two weeks. The data shows that one in every people in the state has tested positive in the past week.

Gov. Doug Bergam issued an order last week requiring businesses to face inings inside indoor and indoor public places, as well as outside public places where social distance is not possible.

“From the beginning, we have adopted a data-driven approach to our epidemic response, focusing on saving lives and livelihoods,” Bergum said.

“Right now, the data calls for high-level mitigation efforts to counter these risky trends, slow the spread of the virus and avoid the need for economic closure.”
