High-waisted pants have reigned supreme in recent seasons, with celebrities like Harry Styles lifting more than ever. But Courteney Cox took things in a different direction with her latest outfit.

While at the farmers’ market in Malibu, California, with friends, the 56-year-old actress opted for baggy, low-rise jeans that had an effortless 2000s-inspired vibe. She matched the jeans with a black tank top, Adding a straw hat, aviator sunglasses, and a blue and white checkered face mask to assemble the outfit.

For footwear, the “Friends” star opted for Adidas Stan Smith, which won the inaugural FN Shoe of the Year honor in 2014. She opted for a simple pair of all-white classic kicks.

Launched in 1972, the canvas shoe was the first leather tennis shoe on the market. It was initially named after French tennis player Robert Haillet, but was renamed by Adidas after Haillet’s retirement, renamed as then-tennis pro Stan Smith. A men’s and women’s favorite, the shoe has been a canvas for collaborators like Stella McCartney and Pharrell Williams in recent years. He’s also found his way to famous feet galore, becoming a favorite with stars like Hailey Baldwin, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, and even Kanye West.

Cox likes to go to the farmers market almost every Sunday, often opting for casual outfits with sweatshirts, sneakers, and T-shirts. Last weekend, the protagonist of “Cougar Town” was photographed on the market in a little black V-neck dress. She paired the dress with beige big-toe sandals that almost blended with her legs, complemented by a hat. of straw and a gingham mask in black and white.

Cox, one of the biggest stars of the 90s, was known for her minimalist aesthetic. Her out-of-service wardrobe tended to include mom’s jeans and leather jackets, while her appearance on the red carpet often consisted of slip-resistant dresses, barely sandals and oversized pantsuits. These days, “Scream” alum can often be found in comfortable and stylish items like skinny jeans, cozy sweaters, and chic slippers.
