“We are very excited. “The Lord has blessed us with a little one, and we’re really excited to finally share the news with everyone and just have a great old family party there,” Barrett said.

The couple found out they were pregnant in May after they were married in October 2019.

“We were in Texas visiting Cade from his family,” she reminded her. “And it’s funny because I did not think I was. Around noon I remember the test and my eyes almost crossed! I was like, ‘Wait, are those two lines?’ I came out to Cade and was just like, ‘Oh my go, I think I am.’ “That’s all I said, and he knew what that meant. I started crying, and it was very sweet.”

Foehner said they have always talked about having children.

“Then, of course, with the pandemic, there was this enormous amount of time to think and reflect on what life was about,” he explained. “So we started trying pretty hard at the beginning of the whole pandemic. It happened pretty fast. We expected it to take a while, and it seemed like the first attempt it did, we were just so excited. We were blew away that it worked so fast. But yes, we started planning on it again. “

Unfortunately, since the singer “I Hope” got pregnant during the COVID crisis, she only has to attend doctor’s appointments, but said “if that’s what keeps the baby safe, then that’s what we will do. We have just tried to find ways to really work with it, because that’s all we can do at this point. “

When the baby is born and the two musicians are able to continue traveling, they plan to “have a family rodeo in a tour bus.”

Barrett said: “Me and Cade, we do everything together, and you will see us both on stage at the same time. It has always been a dream to take our family on a journey and do the work we love, surrounded by family and that they experience everything. “
