Photos shared with the birth announcement show the couple with their hands on Joyce’s stomach just before they go to the hospital.

The couple tied the knot at an intimate wedding ceremony in Santa Monica, California, in March. The ceremony had less than 10 attendees and guests sat at least six feet apart.

A statement from Yoakam’s publicist said the couple waited until May to announce their marriage out of respect for people affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
