It is the first full week of July, which means that some schools will begin to make very important decisions.
For college football, the first major domino is expected to drop for not playing in the fall. The Ivy League had previously announced that it would decide whether its 2020 season would be played before July 8.
Let’s say there is a reason you suddenly hear coaches and various college officials saying that playing in the spring is doable.
