Coronavirus symptoms: Common signs of COVID-19 infection include cough, fever, and fatigue


Coronavirus is an infectious disease that has been confirmed in over 14 million people worldwide. You could be at risk of contracting the virus if you develop any of these 11 common symptoms of the deadly infection.

A high fever and a new, continuous cough are two of the most common signs of infection.

Some patients may also develop difficulty breathing or a new loss of taste or smell.

Other symptoms may seem similar to the flu or a bad cold, but they can also be caused by the virus.

They include fatigue, muscle aches, headaches, sore throat, congestion, nausea, and diarrhea.

“Because some of the flu and COVID-19 symptoms are similar, it can be difficult to distinguish between them based on symptoms alone, and tests may be needed to help confirm a diagnosis,” the Centers for Disease Control said. Control and US Disease Prevention (CDC).
