Coronavirus survivor shares terrifying symptoms CDC won’t tell us about – BGR

  • Many people think they are aware of all the coronavirus symptoms that people commonly experience, and the CDC lists all the typical symptoms of COVID-19 on its website.
  • Unfortunately, there is also a list of much more severe symptoms that hundreds of thousands of people worldwide are experiencing.
  • A coronavirus survivor posted a widely shared thread on Twitter describing many coronavirus symptoms that she and many others have experienced.

You only have to look at the sharp rise in coronavirus cases in the United States right now to see how severe this pandemic is. It is confirmed that more than 3 million people in the United States have been infected by the new coronavirus, and more than 135,000 people in the country have died. When it comes to case numbers, many experts believe the number of infections is an order of magnitude higher than the already daunting number. Since 40% or more of COVID-19 cases are asymptomatic, we will never really know how many people in the US contracted the disease.

In cases of COVID-19 where the patient shows symptoms, there are a handful of common coronavirus symptoms that everyone talks about most often. They are all listed on the CDC website, and there are 11 of them: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, pain throat, nasal congestion or discharge, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea. In fact, those are the most common symptoms doctors have found in patients receiving treatment for COVID-19 infections, but there are several more serious symptoms of coronavirus that hundreds of thousands of people have experienced worldwide, and some of them are downright terrifying.

The director of development for the N + 1 Foundation, Dani Oliver, is a COVID-19 survivor who took to Twitter in an effort to shed light on her experience with the disease. She also tried to raise awareness about the severity of the new coronavirus. The global death count of over 535,000 is a horrible statistic that should be more than enough to scare people into taking all possible precautions. Unfortunately, many people in the United States and around the world are either not understanding the message or refusing to believe that COVID-19 is as serious a problem as the media makes it appear.

As Oliver puts it on Twitter, “It is not enough not to die. You also don’t want to live through this.

In a lengthy thread posted to Twitter late last week, she explained that she captured COVID-19 in March and has been ill for more than three months with fever and respiratory, cardiovascular and neurological symptoms. During her fight against the disease, she has also connected with other people fighting COVID-19 around the world, who come to online forums and support groups to share their stories and help raise awareness.

“I am not unique,” Oliver wrote of his severe and powerful coronavirus symptoms. “Support groups have sprung up all over the Internet because medical science doesn’t know what to do with the hundreds of thousands of Covid patients who don’t get better at the (total and complete bull ** t, and they know it) from the CDC Guidelines for 2 to 6 weeks. “

She continued: “The CDC also refuses to add widely reported terrorist symptoms to its lists. So here’s a bag of surprises from what patients like me are experiencing, just so you know. “

Oliver went on to share a long list of serious symptoms that she and other COVID-19 patients she has found have experienced. Here is a part of them, as quoted from their thread on Twitter:

  • Extreme tachycardia My heart rate was 160 while sleeping.
  • Chest pain, like someone is sitting on your sternum.
  • Back and rib pain as if someone had brought a baseball bat to your torso.
  • Fatigue like you have never felt in your life before. Fatigue as if your body was fading. Fatigue is so severe that it often makes me cry because I thought it might mean that I was dying.
  • Gastrointestinal problems, diarrhea at severe acid reflux. I had diarrhea every day for more than two months.
  • Unbearable nausea.
  • Unexplained eruptions.
  • For me, small broken blood vessels throughout my body.
  • For many of us, a constant shortness of breath for which doctors cannot find an explanation.
  • Neurological symptoms I had delirium and hallucinations. Many report tingling throughout the body, an internal “buzz” or “vibration.”
  • Insomnia and chronic hypnotic body pulls. Such a strange symptom that I thought it was just me, but it turns out that there are many of us.
  • Waking up in the middle of the night, out of breath.
  • Tremors when trying to sleep, as if someone was shaking the bed.

There are many, many more coronavirus symptoms that Oliver continues to describe. You can read the entire thread by clicking on the embedded tweet below. She also shared a link to an article on The atlantic that includes links to various COVID-19 support groups. This is the latest in a long list of reminders that the new coronavirus pandemic is not being overstated by the media. In any case, there is not enough coverage of how serious COVID-19 can be. Wear a face mask every time you leave the house, practice social distancing and wash your hands, or use hand sanitizer every time you touch a surface or object outside your home. If you don’t, you are a danger to yourself and to everyone around you.
