Coronavirus in Reagan: 1,282 new cases, 35 more deaths due to leaked vaccine details


The Reg Reagan Health Authority on Tuesday noted 1,282 newly confirmed or presumed coronavirus cases and 35 more deaths.

The state also released more details about how the vaccine is being distributed in Reagan. On Monday, an additional 2,573 doses of the vaccine were given, bringing the state’s total increase to 7,203.

In a news conference Tuesday morning, Gov. Kate Brown said Oregon teachers, school staff and other education-related workers should be in the front line – after healthcare staff and senior care residents and workers – to get the coronavirus vaccine.

“I’m doing this because I think our teachers, our educators, our school staff – whether working in the lunchroom or doing transportation – are safe, and we’re doing this when we think about it. Our kids come back to the classroom, ”Brown said.

New deaths: The 1,348th victim is a 61-year-old Benton County woman with underlying medical conditions. She tested positive on December 17 and died at her residence on December 21.

The 1,350th victim is a 73-year-old Crook County woman with medical conditions. She tested positive on December 11 and died on December 20. Officers were working to confirm her death.

The 1,351st casualty is a 50-year-old Curry County man with underlying medical conditions. He tested positive on December 11 and died on December 21 at Southern Cous Hospital and Health Center.

The 1,352nd casualty is a 41-year-old Hood River County woman. She tested positive on December 15th and died at her residence on December 21st. Officers were working to confirm whether there were conditions under it.

The 1,353-year-old is a 90-year-old man with a medical condition in Jackson County. He tested positive on Dec. 8 and died Dec. 18 at Ascent Rogue Valley Medical Center.

The 1,354th casualty is a 64-year-old Jackson County woman with underlying medical conditions. She tested positive on Dec. 3 and died Dec. 19 at Providence Madford Medical Center.

The 1,355th victim is a 95-year-old Josephine County woman. She tested positive on December 3 and died at her residence on December 19. Officers were working to make sure she was under medical conditions.

Jan. 1,356 is an 81-year-old Klamath County man with underlying medical conditions. He tested positive on December 10 and died on December 21 at Sky Lakes Medical Center.

Jan. 1,357 is a 92-year-old Lynn County woman with underlying medical conditions. She underwent testing on December 2 and December 15 at Sara Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

The 1,358th fatal is a 94-year-old Marion County woman with medical conditions. He tested positive on November 28, and died at his residence on December 16.

The 1,359th fatal is a 71-year-old Marion County woman with medical conditions. She tested positive on December 5 and died at her residence on December 16.

The 1,360th casualty is a 62-year-old Benton County man with underlying medical conditions. He tested positive on December 14 and died at his residence on December 18.

The 1,361st fatal is an 86-year-old Marian County man with medical conditions. He tested positive on December 3 and died at Salem Hospital on December 21.

Jan. 1,362 is an 82-year-old Marion County woman with underlying medical conditions. She tested positive on December 2 and died at Salem Hospital on December 20.

The 1,363th fatal is a 74-year-old Marion County man with underlying medical conditions. He tested positive on December 12 and died on December 13 at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center.

The 1,364th victim is a 91-year-old Marian County man with underlying medical conditions. He tested positive on December 19 and died at his residence on December 20.

The 1,365th victim is an 83-year-old Moron County man. He tested positive on December 1, 1 and died on December 18 at Trice Health.

The 1,366th fatal is an 81-year-old Multnomah County man with underlying medical conditions. He tested positive on November 23 and December. Died on the 1st. Officers were working to confirm he was dead.

The 1,370th casualty is a 74-year-old Columbia County man. He tested positive on November 24 and died at his residence on December 17. Officers were working to confirm that he had a medical condition.

The 1,371st casualty is an 80-year-old man in Multnomah County with medical conditions of origin. They tested positive on November 23 and died on December 8. Officers were working to confirm the man’s gender and where he died.

The 1,372nd fatalist is an 83-year-old Multnomah County man with basic medical conditions. He tested positive on November 23 and died at his residence on December 8.

The 1,373th casualty is a 69-year-old Multnomah County woman with underlying medical conditions. He tested positive on November 25 and died December 14 at Adventist Hospital.

The 1,374th fatal is an 86-year-old Multnomah County man with underlying medical conditions. He tested positive on November 22, and died on December 16. Officers were working to confirm where he died.

The 1,375th victim is a 95-year-old Multnomah County man. He tested positive on December 13 and died at his residence on December 10. Officers were working to confirm that he had a medical condition.

Yamahil County is an 87-year-old woman with medical conditions under the 1,381st fatality. She tested positive on November 24 and died December 19 at her residence.

Jan. 1,382 is a 95-year-old Yamhill County woman with underlying medical conditions. She tested positive on December 4 and died at her residence on December 20.

Prevalence of infection: On Tuesday, 1,136 of the 18,993 tests in the state tested positive, equivalent to a 6% positivity rate.

Who is infected: Newly confirmed or assumed infections increased in the following age groups: 0-9 (55); 10-19 (149); 20-29 (262); 30-39 (210); 40-49 (212); 50-59 (185); 60-69 (127); 70-79 (61); 80 and older (53).

Who is in the hospital: The state reported that there were 524 Oregonians with coronavirus infection at the hospital Tuesday, four fewer than Monday. Of those, 119 coronavirus patients were in intensive care units, two fewer than on Monday.

Since it started: Oregon has the nation’s lowest number of 105,073 confirmed or assumed infections and 1,382 deaths. To date, 2,491,437 lab reports have been received from tests by the state.
