The Oregon Health Authority on Friday reported 323 new cases of coronavirus and two more deaths.
Where the new cases are by province: Baker (7), Benton (2), Clackamas (21), Clatsop (1), Coos (2), Deschutes (6), Hood River (8), Jackson (23), Jefferson (4), Josephine (6) , Lane (4), Lincoln (3), Linn (9), Malheur (18), Marion (49), Morrow (10), Multnomah (52), Polk (13), Umatilla (37), Wasco (2) , Washington (25) and Yamhill (21).
New dead: 384. death of Oregon linked to coronavirus is a 73-year-old woman with Lane County with underlying health conditions. She tested positive July 25 and died August 12. State officials confirm where she died.
The 385th death is an 85-year-old man from Umatilla County with underlying medical conditions. He tested positive August 3 and died August 12 at his home.
The prevalence of infections: State officials on Friday reported 300 newly confirmed infections from 5,831 people testing, equivalent to a 5.2% positivity.
Who is infected: State officials reported newly confirmed and accepted infections among the following age groups: 0-9 (22); 10-19 (29); 20-29 (66); 30-39 (55); 40-49 (56); 50-59 (38); 60-69 (18); 70-79 (14); 80 and older (12).
Who is in the hospital: The state reported Friday 167 Oregonians with confirmed coronavirus infections are currently in the hospital, up 11 from Thursday. Oregon remains well below its capacity, with hundreds of hospital beds and ventilators available.
Since it started: Oregon has confirmed 22,613 confirmed infections and 385 deaths, among the lowest totals in the nation. So far, 471,935 Oregonians have been tested.
