When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt first met Mr and Mrs Smith’s set in 2004, their chemistry was instantaneous.
Both have admitted to falling in love with the filmmaking business – despite Brad being then married to Jennifer Aniston – and on-set sources said the sexual tension between the couple was palpable.
Just a month after filming began in January 2004, Ange reportedly threw an intimate barbecue at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, and spent the night ‘close’ to Brad.
And when she caught the flu several weeks later, the National Enquirer claimed that Brad had sent his co-star an enormous bouquet with a remark that read, “To the Mrs – Oops!”

But despite the up-and-coming romance rumors, Brad and Jen were all smiling at the May 2004 premiere of Troy, and again at the Emmys in September.
Blissfully unaware of what was unfolding, Jen opened up to the Guardian about the renovation of her dream home and her plans to fill it with dolls.
“I love my house. Love it. It feels very symbolic to me – it was two years in the making, in the remodeling,” she whispered, explaining that it helped create a ‘foundation’ with Brad.
“It’s a fascinating process and I really believe it’s such a test for a relationship that is the same as the stories you hear about having babies,” she continued.
Speaking of which, the then 36-year-old star admitted that she was looking forward to becoming a mother.

“It’s time. It’s time. You know, I think you can work with a baby. I think you can work hard. I think you can do it all. So I’m really, really looking forward to delay,” he added. se ta.
Unfortunately, it did not have to be and Jen was heartbroken when Brad ended her marriage and got married to Angelina, whom he married today six years ago.
But even more devastating was the speed of her new romance, with Angelina getting pregnant with Shiloh, 14, before the ink even dried on the divorce papers.
And Angelina once revealed the important moment that she and Brad quickly tracked down from lovers to family – and eventually Jen’s heart broke – was a sweet remark by her adopted toddler son Maddox, 19.
“It had never occurred to me that Mad needed a father – certainly not that it would be this man I just met,” she told Vogue in 2007.

“Until of course I got to know Brad and realize that he’s naturally just a wonderful father. And we left a lot of that to Mad, and he took his time and then one day made the decision.
‘He just called himself out of the blue Father. It was amazing. We were playing with cars on the floor of a hotel room, and we both heard it and said nothing and just looked at each other.
“And then we just let it go, and then he just kept doing it and that was it. That was probably the most defining moment, when he decided we were all going to be a family.”
Brad has ever called Mr and Mrs Smith his favorite movie, and tells Rolling Stone: “Because you know … six kids. Because I fell in love.”
“Not many people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love,” Angelina also joked in comments that Jen would later feel ‘uncool’.

But in a twist of fate, Brad did not even have to die in the movie.
He dropped out when Nicole Kidman bailed out due to schedule conflicts with The Stepford Wives, but decided to return at the last minute when Angelina signed up as Jane Smith.
Jen was naturally enthusiastic about her husband and stopped to talk to Angelina as she dangled herself in the parking lot of the Friends set.
“I pulled over and introduced myself,” Jennifer told Vanity Fair. “I said, ‘Brad is so excited to work with you. I hope you have a really good time.'”
But just months after filming, their relationship became strained, with Brad kicking off filming from the final episode of Friends.
She announced her divorce in January 2005 after a make-or-break vacation to Mexico, and Jen said she “chose” to believe her husband when he said nothing had happened to Angelina.
Three months later he was photographed on holiday with Angelina and Maddox and she announced her first pregnancy in January 2006.
