Why Utah will win
Utah’s running game is getting ready, getting the best of three games so far.
Freshman Ty Jordan is a small, fast back who came in with 167 yards last week when he started work, and PTE transfer QB Jack Bentley will have to avoid the turnover he gave in the first two games.
The look on the team looked like he needed a few games to get fast, and hopefully he’s there now. The defense has been rock on the third downs, the run defense has been great so far, and the team is playing like Utah.
Colorado’s offensive line has done nothing good when it comes to keeping teams away from backfield, and the O’s have been inconsistent for some time, but…

Why would Colorado win
The ongoing game accelerated Arizona and the UPLA openers last week.
Jarek Bruceward was good in the first three games, and then he went with 301 yards against the Wildcats last week. Yes, Utah felt good against Utah Reagan State last week, but that was partly because Beavers star RB was without Germer Jefferson and had to start a new quarterback.
The Buffs are barely perfect, but the offensive backfield is set, coming up with plenty of third down stops in the defense, and the pass defense isn’t giving anything deep.
He knows his head coach knows how to coach D – allowing Carl Dorrell’s secondary quarterbacks to pass only 52% of the pass and allowing a touchdown pass in the last three games.

What is happening
So where is the Colorado Pack-12 chasing the title? It partly depends on what happens in the USC vs UCLA game, but to win this, and there is a chance that the Pack-12 makes it a Trojan-Buffalo conference title game because their matchup was off.
Utah’s lines are strong, and Colorado hasn’t That Impressive, but Buffalo will close in on the secondary and find enough balance to survive the fight of pleasure.
