College football scores, NCAA top 25 rankings, Week 13: Reg Regan stumbles, Iowa catches up with Nebraska

Friday’s college football slate worked nicely ahead of Saturday, and on Tuesday also brought some confirmation of where the teams were arranged in the first Football League Football Play Playoff rankings. In particular, O Reagan’s ranking of No. 15 seemed more appropriate, then the Ducks blew an 11-point half-time lead and lost to rival Reagan State by 1-138.

Some felt that Reg Reagan had entered the CBP rankings, but on Friday it ended the thinking, while also bringing good results for some other teams, which some believe they overrated in the first poll. Take Iowa, for example. After an investigation at No. 24 on Tuesday, the Hawkeyes received little criticism. But they trailed their winning streak by beating Nebraska 26-26 on Friday and proving that perhaps they all deserve the latter.

Eventually, No. 13 Iowa State and No. 2 Notre Dame became the winners as well as securing positions to maintain their place in the rankings going forward on Saturday as well as the start of the college football season. The Cyclones beat No. 17 Texas 23-20, while the Fighting Irish beat No. 25 North Carolina 31-17.
