College Football Scores, NCAA Top 25 Ranking, Schedule, Sports Today: Texas, Oklahoma Open Season

Prior to the arrival of COVID-19, this particular Saturday will be one of the best of the year in college league football. Just remembering the Marquee Nonfiction Conference games that started on September 12, we had Ohio State-Oregon, Texas-LSU, North Carolina-Ub Burn, Tennessee-Oklahoma, Penn State-Virginia Tech and Iowa-Iowa State in the slate. However, the unique circumstances of this season have cleared each of those competitions from the schedule.

So when compared to what could be, some college football fans on Saturday who were expecting big matchups would look like downers. But with the team and the league exiting the season – considering the way things have been looking over the last few months – Saturday’s slate isn’t as bad. The ranked teams will be in action during all three waves of the Games, including No. 1 Clemson, No. 5 Oklahoma, No. 10 Notre Dame, No. 14 Texas, No. 18 North Carolina, No. 21 UCF and No. 23 Iowa. Introduce them to everyone.

Altogether, ACC’s 10 teams and seven Big 12 teams are set to open their asons on Saturday when Mike Norwell will coach his first game at Florida State, Notre Dame will make his ACC debut and Clemson will begin his bid to regain the national title. That’s a lot to cover the games and everything in between. CBS Sports will have every way to keep you updated with the latest scores, highlights and storylines of the day. Eastern all the time
