Free-agent quarterback Colin Kepernick, who became an athlete activist, will enter a new ice cream flavor in partnership with Ben & Jerry on Thursday.
Capernick said in a press release that he hopes his partnership with the ice cream company will increase the volume on his calls to eliminate and defame the police.

“I’m honored to be partnering on Rare on Ben and Jerry’s replacement,” Capernick said. “His commitment to challenging anti-black policing in the United States reflects material concern for the well-being of black and brown communities. My hope is that this partnership will expand the calls to defame and eliminate the police and invest in futures that will make us safer, healthier and truly free. “

We have high hopes for anything we can achieve together. ”
