Colby Cuewington’s remarks called ‘racist’ by UFC fighters: ‘This man has directly insulted my culture’

The UFC community has come out with comments against Colby Cuewington, who made comments this week to fighters Kamru Usman and Tyrone Woodley.

After beating Woodley in the UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas on Saturday, according to MMA Fighting, Cuewington followed his opponent, calling him a “Marxist” and a “communist” who “hates America.”

Colby Cunnington says LeBron James’ N.B.A. ‘Doesn’t happen to me in the last 10 seconds after players jump after star defense.

He called the Black Lives Matter movement a “joke” and added that he believed in “standing up for lifelong criminals.”

But the real trouble for Cuvington began when he turned his attention to the native Nigerian Usman during a post-match visit.

Some prominent black fighters jumped in to defend Usman and called on the UFC to control Cuewington’s comments.

UFC’s Colby calls LeBron James a ‘spinless cord’ after Covington Victory

“This is what I found – the UFC has not said anything about it,” Welterweight contender Leon Edwards told the website Wednesday.

“It’s normal to let it flow or say and do it and that’s not it,” he continued. “He calls Woodley a terrorist because of his tribe and the signs of smoking and the blaze, blaze, blaze, and black lives matter. All these statements are racist. There is no other way to get around it. ”

Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya also came out against Kingington, adding that the deeper issues fall within the “media landscape”.

“This person has directly insulted my culture, my brother and many other cultures and stuff and no one says anything. But it only shows you a mirror. You show the mirror to you people. So yes, I don’t really care. Kamru Usman broke his jaw. ”

Defenders in Cuewington say the fighter is playing a character, an agitator, meant to boost ratings but featherweight physician Davoodu said he was still shocked by it.

“I am just kind of surprised that he is allowed to speak freely in this way. You know everyone is allowed to speak freely, but I’ve done it wrong. It’s crazy that such comments are spreading among the people, “MMA told Fighting. “He called the president and got his support. I don’t really appreciate it, and that’s a guess, I guess. “

Quinton, a public supporter of Donald Trump, was called by the president during the same post-match interview where he followed Usman.

“I’m proud of you man,” Trump said. “I’m a big fan and I’m proud of you. You are tough, you have the right spirit. ”

Cuwington also sparked NBA community awe after LeBron James was called a “spineless coward.” He came out on Monday to defend himself, saying the Los Angeles Lakers star “couldn’t last 10 seconds” with me.
