Cody Bellinger runs it in the most possible way from Cody Bellinger – Dodgers Digest

Despite finishing a winning streak of seven games, the Dodgers realized they were still winning nine of their last 10 and sought to extend another winning streak to three games.

They managed to do just that in as boring of a game as possible for something that was so totally and utterly. Nevertheless, it managed to make it to a hilarious walk-off in the end Cody Bellinger.

Across from Kyle Freeland for what seems like the billionth time, the Dodgers got in the 1st to a Mookie Betts run and a Corey Seager inkel. Betts went first to third on the game, and Seager was driven out for second place, but Betts scored during the lap to make it 1-0.

In the 2nd, the Dodgers got a run in the simplest way, with Chris Taylor go on for a solo shot and a 2-0 lead.

Unfortunately, the attack remained quiet for a while, and the Rockies got an attack right back Dustin mei in the 3rd when Sam Hilliard hit a solo of his own.

Other than that lack, May continued his run of quality starts, going five innings from one ball, giving up just two hits and two walks. However, he managed just one tackle and he threw 81 pitches to get through five, both of which are the main concerns as of now.

In the 6th, Brusdar Graterol took over for him and was put to an early hole Trevor Story hit a soft grounder after Corey Seager. It would have been an infield single anyway, but Seager tried his best Omar Vizquel play barehand and throw it into the dugout to put the track in scoring position. The Rockies then produced the track with a ground out and a soup fly to make it 2-2. Graterol came out of the inning without any problems, and was stuck with an undeserved attack.

Things got worse for the Dodgers in the 7th. Scott Alexander went in and gave a lead-off walk, which was then sacrificed to second and advanced to third on a ground out. Blake Trains then stepped in and threw a wild pitch on a walk to score the lead at 3-2 before getting a strikeout to end the frame.

When Freeland started banning, the Dodgers mounted a rally in their half of the 7th. Justin Turner hit in the hip hit by a pitch, and AJ Pollock followed by running a ball to the left in the line for a double. After Cody Bellinger ran to unload the bases with no one, Freeland’s night was done. CT3 then came to a 3-0 count, and put a ball back in the middle at 3-1, but right at the second baseman for a 4-6-3 double to tie the game at 3-3, but get two enormous outs. After two more walks to reload the bases, Austin Barnes saw strike three to end the rally.

Trains continued in the 8th attempt to keep the game deadlock, but gave up a lead-off double and then a ground to put him over. He then got another grounder against an introduced infield and got a little lucky.

Caleb Ferguson then went in to escape the inning and did so by getting a ground out in the shift to end it. When the bats kicked off, Ferguson went through in the 9th, allowing a runner on his own inability to catch a feed, but he then got a bunt that fell for an out and a strikeout before giving up. That brought in Kenley Jansen in a tie game and he managed to get a strikeout.

That set the stage for Bellinger, who went up and laid a pitch over the right field wall for a walk-off. While that in itself was dramatic, it was only made better by the fact that he was so damn good.

Also love the socially distant celebration.

Hey, the Dodgers are good, IMO.
