CNN, MSNBBA ignore Trump’s big Israel-Bahrain peace deal during primetime

The most-watched programs on CNN and MSNBC on Friday night completely ignored President Trump’s foreign policy achievement of brokering a peace deal between Israel and Bahrain.

U.S. And according to a statement issued by the two Middle East countries, they “agreed to establish full diplomatic relations between the state of Israel and Bahrain.”

“This is a historic achievement in bringing more peace to the Middle East. The statement said that opening up direct dialogue and relations between these two dynamic societies and advanced economies will continue the positive change in the Middle East and increase stability, security and prosperity in the region.

However, no mention of the main Middle East peace agreement was made during CNN and MSNBC’s primetime show.

MSNBC, CNN largely ignore premium during Trump’s Major Israel-UAE peace deal

While CNN dedicated significant coverage to the Israel-Bahrain agreement during the afternoon program, MSNBC spent less than two minutes covering headlines throughout the day.

MSNBC’s longest segment on the subject lasted just one minute and 22 seconds, when anchor Ayman Mohildin asked his panel why President Trump announced the peace deal on the 19th anniversary of 9/11.

Both MSNBC and CNN similarly slammed their coverage of the key deal struck by Trump last month between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“CNN Tonight” anchor Don Lemon, who regularly has two full hours every night, spent about two minutes on the deal, but National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien suggested that the president be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Then Trump will be mocked.

“Wonder why he wants the Nobel Prize so badly. Oh, you know who has it, right? President Barack Obama!” CNN anchor boasts.

Lemon’s teammates Anderson Cooper and Chris Cuomo, like their primetime rivals on MSNBC, avoided the topic altogether.
