The 2019-20 Premier League season ended on Sunday, and Champions League soccer awaits midfielder from the American men’s national team Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic and the Blues secured fourth place after a 2-0 victory against Wolves, guaranteeing an automatic place in Europe’s top competition. Signed Borussia Dortmund’s last offseason for $ 73 million, Pulisic finished his first league season at Chelsea with nine goals and six assists in 25 games. He also considered Chelsea’s second goal, propelling the game forward before Olivier Giroud doubled his lead.

Pulisic could wait longer as Chelsea will face Arsenal in the FA Cup final on August 1. They will also play the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 series with Bayern Munich on August 8, with the German champions having a 3-0 lead added.
Although he didn’t come off the bench during Aston Villa’s 1-1 draw against West Ham, forward USYNT Indiana Vassilev remains awake. The result of his team, combined with Watford and Bournemouth finishing with 34 points, ensured that they would get 17th place and avoid relegation. Vassilev signed a new contract with Aston Villa in May and participated in four games from the bench in 2019-20.

Former Atlanta United star Miguel Almiron also saw his entire Premier League season come to an end, with Newcastle United finishing 13th after a 3-1 loss against Liverpool. The Paraguayan midfielder was substituted in the 70th minute, while the USMNT off his back DeAndre Yedlin remained on the bench.
Almiron, who originally joined Newcastle last January, had four goals and two assists in 35 games this season. He also scored four times in the FA Cup, and Yedlin appeared in 16 games during his fourth season with The Magpies.
