Netflix’s reality show Selling Sunset has become a hit. The cast’s drama along with the show’s high real estate has been a recipe for success. Selling Sunset follows the brokers at the Oppenheim Group, as they sell multi-million dollar homes and deal with the stress and drama of working together and juggling their relationships. But now Chrissy Teigen calls out the show.
Is ‘Selling Sunset’ Real?
As the third season of Selling Sunset just became available on Netflix, the show has been a top of the mind for many people, including Teigen.
“I just watched ‘Selling Sunset’ after talking to everyone about it for so long!” she tweeted. ‘I don’ t even think any of it is as skinny or crazy as you guys said? Maybe I’m just used to it because I live here? This is pretty normal lol, some are actually quite nice. “
She went on to tackle all the criticism the cast has received for her stories on the show.
“Maybe I also know that everyone on TV plays a character,” she continued. ‘They all do. You guys are … super crazy about people who are kidding. ‘
They then questioned the validity of the brokers’ jobs.

“I will say, I look a lot to LA real estate and have never seen any of these people. I also have no agents, whom I have obsessively asked for,” she wrote.
Cast ‘Selling Sunset’ responds
Of course, the Selling Sunset team did not want to take Teigen’s comments without defending themselves, especially not Jason Oppenheim, the president of The Oppenheim Group.
“Chrissy, thanks for watching our show!” hy tweeted. “As for your agent’s knowledge of my team members, I do not know him respectfully either, although that does not mean he is not successful and did not just sell a beautiful house in Weho (seriously, I love your new house). ”
He invited Teigen to see how real the show is for themselves.
“My team is working insecurely and if their successes with real estate do not precede them yet, they will,” he wrote. ‘Remember their names. And feel free to come through the office and say hello. ”
Agent Mary Fitzgerald also commented, defending the work she does as an agent.
“I currently sit in 6 escrows and have sold a few dozen homes in the recent past,” she said. wrote. “I’m sure who your agent is, if I’m tired of not working with her yet, I’ll get it soon.”

What’s up with ‘Selling Sunset’?
Season 3 of Selling Sunset can be accomplished even more with drama than the previous two. This season documented the divorce of Chrishell Stause and This is us star Justin Hartley, who made headlines last year.
“I was with her at her new place for the first day,” Stause co-star Amanza Smith told Us Weekly. ‘It took a giant bottle of wine and a lot of tissue and [I] was like, ‘I do not know, but I’m here.’
The cast was able to get together after the divorce and rally around Stause.
