Chrissy Teigen is fighting trolls.
The 34-year-old model announced that she blocked more than a million people on Twitter after her account was “flooded by sick psychopaths” who falsely accused her of being linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
“I have chained over a million people, A MILLION people today and I am still awash with sick psychopaths. So please forgive me the “just ignore them, they’re just trolls.
“Anyway, I’ll do my best to stop entertaining them,” he continued. “They have definitely been living for this and they have focused ONLY on me.”
The mother of two children thanked supporters and highlighted journalist Yashar Ali.
“Thank you ALL for helping me, inside and outside the dm,” he wrote. “The people I’ve never met have been so, so kind and huge, especially thanks to @yashar. Yashar has spent the whole day helping me, non-stop. And send me funny pictures. And let me vent and cry. And give me your therapists. I love you man.”
On Tuesday, Teigen criticized trolls who claimed that she was part of the circle of convicted pedophiles and traveled in her fleet of private jets, which were nicknamed “Lolita Express”. Teigen’s name has never been linked to those flights and she would have been a minor at the time.
When followers noted that Teigen had removed 60,000 previous tweets, it exploded.
