Chris Evans sends a message to the boy who protected the sister from the dog attack: VIDEO

A six-year-old boy from Cheyenne, Wyoming, is being hailed as a hero after coming to the rescue of his younger sister by protecting her from a dog attack.

The story about Bridger Walker, who suffered serious bite wounds to the face while protecting his sister, captivated the public.

One person who was impressed was Chris Evans, the actor who played Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In a video posted to Instagram by the boy’s aunt, Nicole Noel Walker, the actor told the boy in a special message:

“I read your story and saw what you did. Dude, you are a hero, what you did was so brave, so selfless: your sister is so lucky to have you as an older brother. Your parents must be very proud of you.”

According to Nicole, her nephew put himself in danger to protect his sister.

After the dog bit him several times, Bridger managed to grab his sister’s hand and bring her to safety.

Bridger had bite wounds on the cheek, mouth, and near the left eye from the canine attack.

He received approximately 90 points, according to Nicole’s Instagram post.

The young hero reportedly said to his aunt:

“If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.”

The proud aunt posted photos of Bridger and her sister to Instagram and tagged various actors known for their superhero roles to inform them of their family’s hero.

On her Instagram page, Nicole wrote:

“We love our brave boy and we want all the other superheroes to know about this latest hero who joined their ranks.”

Walker followed up his initial posts with a statement from Bridger’s parents.

Parents stated that they do not need financial assistance and that the funds established to raise money for their family were not authorized by them. Instead of donations for them, they suggested various charities that people can donate to: Mission 22, Operation Underground Railroad, and The Wounded Warrior Project.

They also asked the public not to vilify the dog’s owners because they “love” them.

Evans’ video was shown with another video featuring Bridger, who was fully dressed in a Captain America costume, watching the reproduction of the personalized message.

From hero to hero, Evans promised to find the boy’s address so he could send him a true Captain America shield for his bravery.

“Dude, you deserve it. Keep being the man you are. We need people like you.”

Regarding the boy’s path to recovery, Evans continued:

“Hang in there. I know recovery can be difficult, but based on what I’ve seen, I don’t think there is much that can slow it down.”

The Internet vanished from the interaction.

According to EWMark Ruffalo (Hulk) was the first celebrity to communicate with Bridger, calling him “more of a man than many, many I have ever seen or known.”

Others include, Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Zachary Levi (from Shazam! fame), Robbie Amell (who plays Firestorm in The flash), Brie Larson (Captain marvel), Anne Hathaway (Catwoman), The Russo Brothers (who directed four MCU movies), Grant Gustin (who plays flash The CW), and others also praised Bridger for his heroism.

Bridger’s aunt also posted a video with her nephew and Tom Holland.

Nicole reiterated that the Bridger family has no hard feelings towards dog owners, who they said are “really cool people who have been nothing but kind to Bridger and his family.”

“We don’t feel any resentment towards them and, in any case, there has only been an increase in love between our families as a result of this incident.”

Nicole added that Bridger is doing well while recovering.

“He is in a great mood and his incredible personality is intact.”

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. And at age six, Bridger Walker seems destined for great things.

May the little hero have a speedy recovery.
