The Yaoluan section of the Zhengxi Expressway begins at the Zhengyao Expressway and ends in Miaozi City, Luanchuan County. It has a total length of 78.84 kilometers, four two-way lanes, a designed speed of 100 kilometers per hour, a maximum altitude of 1280 meters, passing through Yaoshan, Baiyunshan and other 5A class-level scenic spot, known as the “most beautiful road”. The completion and opening of the project has shortened the travel time from Pingdingshan to Luanchuan by almost an hour, which is of great importance in assisting the development of tourism along the route and boosting the economic and social development of southwest Henan. .
The Jiluoxi Expressway begins in Dayu City, Jiyuan City, crosses the Yellow Tianmo River in the south, and ends in Matun City, Mengjin County. It has a total length of 42.38 kilometers, four two-way lanes and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The highest pier of the Yellow River Bridge, which is the project’s controlling project, is 73.4 meters, which is currently the highest Yellow River bridge in our province.
The Taihui Expressway project from Yulu to Taiqian is a major crossing through the two provinces of Henan and Shandong, has six lanes in both directions and a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The main structure of the project is the Yellow River Bridge, which is 11.4 kilometers long and is currently the longest road Yellow River Bridge in our province. Once the project was completed and opened to traffic, it rewrote the history of the Yellow River Bridge with no roads on the upper and lower reaches of the Yellow River in front of the platform for more than 100 kilometers.
In 2020, a total of 36.31 billion yuan was invested in 23 highway projects under construction in the province, representing 101% of the 36 billion yuan in the annual plan. In addition to the projects open to traffic, the “Project 13445” of highways in our province has been fully implemented. The first batch of 20 new projects with a total investment of 1,241 kilometers and a total investment of 179.2 billion yuan has advanced in stages.
