The two sides said at the start of the contract that they will build the best volleyball league in three to five years, and launched the first volleyball super league in the 2017-2018 season.
However, the good times are not long: since the 2018-2019 season, the league’s appeal has begun to shrink significantly.
For the 2019-2020 season, to cooperate with the training and preparation of the national team, the schedule for the women’s volleyball league has been greatly compressed. In just three months, the league was played and its influence was dramatically reduced.
Despite Zhu Ting’s return to such a hot spot, it is an indisputable fact that the league’s appeal has waned.
