The crown edition of Serious Request raised 307,392 euros. The amount will go to Red Cross efforts against the crown pandemic.

3FM’s Serious Request: Never Walk Alone, where listeners can request a song by donating an amount, was made April 12-18.

Sander Hoogendoorn, Timur Perlin, Frank van der Lende and Eva Koreman were among the DJs who provided the special 3FM programming.

Several artists gave a performance during the action. On the closing day of the action, Jeangu Macrooy, who will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest next year, and DI-RECT, among others, performed.

Lower performance than previous editions

The previous serious 3FM request triggered ‘The Lifeline’ raised over € 1.4 million in December 2019 for victims of human trafficking. The previous year, the amount of the first edition of the campaign without Glass House was more than 1.3 million euros.
