Amstelveen – The famous DJ Amstelveen, Jordy de Breet, from the artists and events agency Jomo Productions, lost his father Hans, 62 years old and healthy, to the effects of the corona virus on Friday. The heartbroken Jordy wants to warn all people: please people, this virus is not a flu.
Jordy, known in the region for years involved in numerous parties and performances, yesterday shared the tragic account of his father’s long but futile battle against the crown virus through Facebook. Thousands of statements of support went to the famous DJ and his family.
Warn
Despite all the pain, he now tries to warn as many people as possible by telling his story, to avoid further suffering: “I want to warn everyone about this hell. I don’t want this for anyone. “Jordy’s story touches everyone and goes through the bones.
Jordy’s father struggled in IC for 20 days after a coronavirus infection was diagnosed. Jordy has lived through a harrowing nightmare since then, but tried to stay positive. Occasionally Jordy brought chocolate and gifts to hospital staff or shared an update on his personal Facebook page; It seemed to go better with small steps.
After a long battle, the light even shone on the horizon: in fact, his father only needed to wake up, his lungs had been declared clean, and the intensive care staff honestly thought Hans might be leaving the hospital soon.
“We are broken”
It turned out completely different: The virus eventually caused a stroke, making people realize that Jordy’s father would never wake up again. In exceptional cases, Jordy and his family could say goodbye. Her father literally died at the hands of the family. “We are broken, it is surreal, it is a nightmare and a really bad movie,” Jordy writes. “Dear dad, why you?” Jordy asks in dismay. Her father did not smoke, did not drink, never had complaints and had a positive attitude towards life.
Damn virus
Jordy calls Corona a bot virus, which must be taken very seriously and can affect anyone. “I want to warn everyone that this is not a flu, no one should experience it,” he says.
Grateful
Jordy had wanted to say a lot to his father. The realization that this is no longer possible is heartbreaking. Jordy has promised his father that he will take care of the family and will do everything possible to keep his Jomo Productions company running, but his father’s death has left a deep crater.
However, Jordy shows his gratitude: “Dear Dad, I want to thank you for being and still being my Dad! I couldn’t wish for a better father! You were so full and positive in life. Why exactly you? Dear Dad, rest in peace! “
