The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who retired from work as “royalty” in late March, announced their new “way of working” to the media through a letter. This message was also shared by other British media, such as The Guardian, The Financial Times and ITV News.
“This policy has nothing to do with avoiding criticism. We are also not concerned with suppressing or censoring a public conversation. The media have every right to report and may have an opinion on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, whether good or bad But that opinion cannot be based on a lie, “said a spokesman for Harry and Meghan.
Due to Harry and Meghan’s new policy, the four banned outlets will no longer receive updates and photos from their press department and may also be rejected at certain press meetings the couple starts.
