At the Catalan football club, Javier Bordas is now responsible for matters related to the first team. Deputy officers included Vice Presidents Emili Rousaud and Enrique Tombas. They no longer trust President Josep Maria Bartomeu.
The Lionel Messi and Frenkie de Jong club, among others, named three new vice-presidents and held three other positions. “As manager, Javier Bordas will be responsible for the first team in the soccer branch, Xavier Vilajoana will include Barcelona B, youth teams and women’s soccer,” the club said. FC Barcelona is taking legal action against the retired Rousaud, who accused the club of corruption. “It has seriously damaged our image,” said Barcelona.
Bordas (59) has been a board member since 2005.
