This morning, Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, the chairman of the state and the chairman of the Central Military Commission, and party and state leaders, along with representatives from all walks of life in the capital , presented a basket of flowers to the martyrs of the Anti-Japanese War at the Chinese People’s Anti-Japanese War Memorial.

Accompanied by music played by the military band, 14 ceremonial soldiers raised seven baskets of flowers and slowly entered the memorial hall.
