The number of coronavirus-related hospital admissions has decreased. You would think good news, but there is a small comment. Again there are more corona patients in intensive care. With an increase of 7, there is still no downward trend.
There are now 1,391 patients in intensive care. The number of ICU patients in the Netherlands decreased slightly on Friday, but there was a slight increase again on Saturday.
Furthermore, according to the National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution, we do not have to worry about it at the moment. The situation is currently “stable at a high level”.
Thanks to the help of neighboring Germany, the pressure on intensive care in the Netherlands has slightly decreased. There are now 57 Dutch with the coronavirus.
In total, 387 crown patients died in intensive care in the Netherlands. 178 people recovered and have since left the hospital.
