Apple is reported to have specially optimized the Face ID feature in the latest iOS 13.5 beta released. When the iPhone detects that the user is wearing a mask, the PIN code entry interface will appear directly, eliminating the need for users to multiply multiple times. The slide up process is very user friendly for masks.

Currently, all iPhone X and above models support Face ID function. There are only three options to unlock this part of iPhone. One is not to set a password, the other is to enter the PIN code to unlock and the third is to unlock facial recognition. By default, Apple recommends using Face ID to unlock facial recognition. Only when multiple attempts fail, the PIN code unlock will start, but it will generally take 10-15 seconds before the PIN code is automatically unlocked.
