Case 1: A 33-year-old man currently lives in Dongmagezhuang Village, Gaoliying Town, Shunyi District, and is an employee of a company in Jinma Industrial Park, Shunyi District. On December 26, as a close contact of the confirmed case, a centralized isolation medical observation was made, on December 27 a throat swab was taken for nucleic acid analysis, the result was negative. On December 29 another throat swab was collected for nucleic acid analysis, on December 30 it was reported that the result was positive and he was transferred from a negative pressure 120 ambulance to Ditan Hospital. The patient reported symptoms such as dry throat. Based on the results of the epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case on the same day and the clinical classification was mild.
Case 2: A 28-year-old man currently lives in Houliwu Village, Beixiaoying City, Shunyi District, and is an employee of a company in Jinma Industrial Park, Shunyi District. On December 26, as a close contact for the confirmed case, a centralized quarantine medical observation was conducted. A throat swab was taken for a nucleic acid test on December 27, and the result was negative. On December 29, a throat swab was again taken for nucleic acid testing and the result was positive. Transfer of negative pressure ambulance 120 to Ditan Hospital, and based on the results of the epidemiological history, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case on December 30, and the clinical type was mild.
Currently, 41 close contacts of the aforementioned confirmed cases have undergone centralized isolation medical observation and the necessary control measures have been implemented.
Pang Xinghuo recalled that as the New Year’s Day holiday and the Spring Festival approached, the movement and gathering of people increased, increasing the risk of the spread of the epidemic. Remind citizens and friends once again that in view of the current situation of the domestic and foreign epidemic, it is advisable not to leave Beijing if it is not necessary, and not to leave the country if it is not necessary. Friendly citizens are recommended to spend the festival in Beijing to reduce the flow of people. Advocate a simple lifestyle, fewer meetings, fewer outings, and fewer unnecessary dinners.
