Zhao Chenxin said that by the end of 2019, 9.2 million resettled poor people had been lifted out of poverty. The remaining 400,000 poor people relocated this year have completed relevant exit work and are currently in the phase of assessing the effectiveness of poverty alleviation. The employability of poor people has improved significantly after their relocation. Relocated families with labor have achieved the employment goal of at least one person, and the income level of relocated people has improved significantly.
According to statistics, the per capita net income of poverty-affected households across the country has risen from 4,221 yuan in 2016 to 9,313 yuan in 2019, an average annual increase of 30.2%. “Overall, the task of poverty alleviation and relocation in the thirteenth five-year plan has been fully completed, and the more than 9.6 million resettled poor are in your hands.
