Chilling video captures moment gunman kills Bronx mother of three

Chilling surveillance video captures the moment a suspected killer ran over a Bronx mother of three over the weekend.

The footage, released by police Sunday, shows a lone gunman wearing dark trousers and a black hoodie, and jumping off several laps as he walks past East 152nd Street in Melrose shortly before 5:20 p.m.

Priscilla Vazquez, 25, was once beaten in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

“She was the strongest woman,” said her sister, Angela. ‘She does not need any help from anyone to care for her children. She did it on her own. ‘

She said Vazquez leaves behind three children, a 3-year-old daughter and two boys, ages 7 and 8.

Police said video footage of a building near Courtland Avenue took three people prisoner from a silver Chevy Traverse and ran to two parties who were walking on time – with the gunman holding a gun and shot several rounds.

Witnesses told police they heard about six shots.

Police are asking anyone who can identify the shooter to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
