Santos and Huachipato reached an agreement so that the steelworkers would once again have 100% of the economic rights over Yeferson Soteldo.
The move of the southern club was accepted by the Brazilians who in the end did not pay any penny for the Venezuelan despite having been in that institution for more than a year and a half.
This Wednesday the Deliberative Council of Santos accepted Huachipato’s proposal with 83 votes in favor, 71 against and 8 abstentions.
Globoesporte leaked the formal offer of the steels to stay with the player, where the highlights are the following:
The Chilean club buys 50% of the rights over the player for a sum of 3.5 million dollars, which will be commuted by the debt that Santos has with Huachipato because ultimately “he never paid.”
Withdrawal of all the demands that exist in FIFA (three) for the non-payment of the São Paulo team to the national team for the initial sale of 50% of Soteldo.
Huachipato takes over the $ 200,000 debt that Santos maintains with the Venezuelan.
The steering wheel, yes, remains in Santos until an offer arrives and the southerners decide to sell it.
For a transfer of more than eight million dollars, Santos keeps 10% of the business.
