Less than a week before the application process to apply a second withdrawal of funds from the AFPs, three administrators announced an advance on related payments.
Although the AFPs have 10 business days to make the transfers once the member requests their savings; Cuprum, Modelo and ProVida they announced a preview of that.
It should be noted that this process began five days ago.
In detail, a group of more than 13 thousand members of Modelo and Cuprum who opted for the deposit in the so-called Account 2 they have already received the corresponding transfer.
And for this Tuesday, AFP ProVida reported the first 35 thousand transfers to bank accounts for payments corresponding to those who made their request on Thursday, December 10.
“These payments are added to the more than 11 thousand made yesterday Monday 14 to Account 2 of the AFP,” added the administrator.
The AFP Association reported on Monday that the number of people who have requested their second withdrawal of funds is already heading towards 6 million.
The union maintained that from last Thursday when the process began, until 12:00 hours this Monday, they received 5,814,071 applications by affiliates.
As during the first withdrawal process, there are one year term to request the savings. In fact, those who have not processed the withdrawal of the first 10% can also participate in this second instance, since they are two different initiatives and the first process will remain in force until July 2021.
