The sport utility vehicles and the pick-ups they were no strangers in April to worst month in history in terms of sales of 0km in the Argentine automotive market, with a total of 4,385 patented vehicles and an abrupt 88.3 percent year-over-year drop, according to data from the Association of Automotive Dealers of the Argentine Republic (see note).
The reason for the sharp drop in sales is due to social, preventive and compulsory isolation that began on March 20 and forced the dealership closure and of the automotive records.
Another point to keep in mind is that the April patents were largely the result of sales made before the beginning of the month and in a much smaller number by operations carried out online.
At monthly ranking that brings together SUV and trucks, Toyota hilux is the most successful model, with 241 units sold. Between the sport utility, the Volkswagen T-Cross was the most sued, with 116 registered units. Inside of the top 20 you will find below, the compact SUV of the German brand ranked fifth, Under Ford Ranger (129 units).
