The general manager of the AFP Association, Fernando Larrain, He referred this Monday to the beginning of the second withdrawal of 10% of the pension funds, explaining that the process will begin this Thursday, when people can make the request.
In an interview with Expreso Bío Bío, the official explained how the second withdrawal of the pension funds will operate, indicating that the income that must pay taxes (over 1.5 million pesos), must do so in the April income operation and that it is not up to the AFPs to subtract these amounts.
Larraín indicated that the companies of his union will seek to make payments to affiliates who request the withdrawal as soon as possible, although indicating that they legally have 10 business days to do so.
“We are going to make an effort to actually pay before, One should expect payments to start on December 17, but here there is a legal mandate of 10 business days, not all payments can be made the first, They cannot be done on the last day due to issues of the financial system, ”he explained.
Along the same lines, Larraín commented that requests can be made from this Thursday, December 10 at 09:00, that the corresponding platforms will not be enabled before and that whoever makes the request first does not mean that they will be the first to receive the payment.
“This is not the first payment to whoever makes the request first”, he reiterated.
