A few weeks ago the case of a young man who had a record of arrests in Temuco was known: 116. Well, Today it arrived at 119.
He was caught along with another subject, trying to rob a business premises, breaking the curfew and a precautionary measure of night house arrest, recently decreed.
It was an anonymous call that alerted about both subjects, 23 years old, prowling the commercial premises with the intention of entering. Carabineros, along with Citizen Security personnel from the Municipality of Temuco, arrived at the site of the event.
He Captain Claudio Plaza de los Reyes, Deputy Commissioner of the services of the 2nd Police Station “Temuco” specified that both subjects were arrested for the crimes of attempted robbery, damage and breaking the curfew.
Likewise, the defendant with 119 arrests nicknamed “the pot”, failed to comply with a precautionary measure of night house arrest, recently decreed, after his last arrest.
“This subject is a repeat offender, keeps his detention 119 and was with a partner in crime whose detention is 29 (…) it was an anonymous call to level 133 and the rapid police action that allows the arrest of both defendants. As Carabineros, we have a constitutional mandate, we will always make the Law effective and we will stop as many times as necessary, when there is a flagrant crime, ”said Captain Plaza de los Reyes.
In the possession of the detainees, a backpack was found in which they kept gloves, a screwdriver, various tools for the commission of crimes and even a blank gun that will be examined by the Carabineros del Labocar “Temuco” to determine if it is adapted for shooting.
By instruction of the Prosecutor’s Office, both detainees will go to control of the detention this Tuesday.
