Regarding whether this measure implies fewer hours of rest for people who will have to get up earlier, the mayor of Puente Alto, Germán Codina, indicated that it is a proposal that can be modified and that the important thing is its purpose, avoid crowds.
What will be the alternatives for those who must enter their jobs first? The Minister of Transport, Gloria Hutt, clarified that the 100% of the Transantiago bus fleet will be operational; However, it ruled out that Metro de Santiago starts its service an hour earlier, that is, from 5:00 in the morning.
Specify that these are proposals from both the business community and the public sector. That is to say, each worker must coordinate entry times with their employers.
