Falabella.com, Linio.cl and Sodimac.com announced this Monday that they will open their marketplace platforms for free, without charging commission for sales -for a period of 3 months- to micro-companies that enter as new sellers.

In addition, they will provide training and support to develop the skills necessary to succeed in the world of e-commerce, they said.

This initiative, announced today, facilitates microenterprise access to the world of online commerce and is part of the aPóYaME campaign, led by the Ministry of Economy and the Santiago Chamber of Commerce that promotes access by small and medium-sized companies to the e-commerce.

Micro-companies interested in adding to these benefits must participate in a webinar (online workshop), in which they will be informed about essential aspects of online commerce. The first virtual talk “E-commerce for microentrepreneurs” will be held this Thursday, April 30 at 4:00 pm and will be given by the corporate manager of Falabella.com, Ricardo Alonso, the general manager of Linio, Benoit de Grave, and the manager Corporate Digital Retail of Sodimac, Sebastián Simonetti. Those interested can register through the websites of these companies.

Falabella.com’s corporate manager, Ricardo Alonso, highlighted that “through this campaign we want to open up opportunities for entrepreneurs who are currently going through a complex situation as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The support campaign has generated special interest in our marketplaces that have received more than 6,000 visits from entrepreneurs in just a few days. For this reason, we have wanted to go further and expand the benefits so that the advantages of online sales reach more Chilean entrepreneurs and, in this way, help them so that this crisis can in a certain way become an opportunity with a long-term projection for many of them”.

For his part, Benoit de Grave, Linio’s general manager, emphasized that “more than 80% of the sellers who offer their products through Linio are SMEs. Since the beginning of the pandemic we have been working together with them, offering them all the alternatives that are within our reach so that they can continue operating their businesses in the best possible way. This new initiative of the Falabella group does nothing but reaffirm our commitment to entrepreneurs throughout Chile, who are one of the main drivers of our platform. ”

“We are very happy to help microentrepreneurs in these difficult times due to the health crisis. We put all our experience at your disposal to join the digital world and reach more customers through Sodimac.com, as part of the efforts we have made for years in support of entrepreneurs. We invite you to become partners of our online channel and thus build dreams and home projects together for our clients, “said Sodimac’s Corporate Digital Retail Manager, Sebastián Simonetti.

Micro-companies interested in joining this initiative may register until Tuesday, May 5 at: www.falabella.com; https://www.linio.cl/cm/pymes; https://marketplace.sodimac.com/#form, where the necessary requirements and the steps to follow will be reported.
